Role description
Position: Joinery Carpenter Company: Five Atelier Interiors LLC Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Job Summary Five Atelier Interiors LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Furniture Carpenter to join our joinery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, installing, and repairing high-quality custom furniture and joinery items according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists. Manufacture custom furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, doors, counters, and other joinery items. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools. Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently, including table saws, panel saws, edge banders, routers, planers, and sanders. Assemble and fit furniture components accurately to meet project specifications. Install finished furniture and joinery items at project sites when required. Inspect finished products to ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with company standards. Repair or modify furniture as instructed by the supervisor. Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in good condition. Follow all health, safety, and company procedures at all times. Coordinate with the Foreman and Production Supervisor to complete projects within scheduled deadlines. Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and workshop housekeeping as needed. Workshop-based with occasional site installation work. May require overtime to meet project deadlines. Must comply with all company safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Salary negotiable based on your experience. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Furniture Carpenter or Joinery Carpenter. Experience in manufacturing custom furniture and interior joinery. Ability to read and understand technical/shop drawings. Good knowledge of woodworking materials, hardware, and finishing preparation. Skilled in using woodworking machines and carpentry hand tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physically fit and capable of handling workshop activities. UAE experience is an advantage.
