1. About Milaap
Milaap (www.projectmilaap.com) is a free, volunteer-run platform that connects skilled blue-collar and domestic workers with employers in the Gulf region and beyond. By accessing or using Milaap, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility
You may use Milaap if you are:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally permitted to seek or offer employment in the jurisdictions relevant to your use.
- Acting in good faith and providing accurate information.
Milaap reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms or misuses the platform.
3. Worker Accounts
Workers who register on Milaap agree to provide truthful information about their identity, skills, experience, and availability. Submitting false or misleading information — including fabricated qualifications or identity documents — is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent removal from the platform.
Workers understand that Milaap does not guarantee employment, visa sponsorship, or placement. The platform facilitates introductions only; any employment contract is solely between the worker and the employer.
4. Employer Accounts
Employers who register on Milaap agree to post only genuine, lawful job opportunities. Employers must not use worker data obtained through Milaap for any purpose other than legitimate recruitment.
Employers are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable labour laws, immigration regulations, and employment standards in their jurisdiction. Milaap does not act as a recruitment agency and is not liable for any employment decisions made through the platform.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Post fraudulent, misleading, or discriminatory job listings.
- Collect or harvest personal data from other users without consent.
- Use the platform to facilitate human trafficking, forced labour, or any form of exploitation.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform's technical infrastructure.
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
- Send unsolicited commercial communications (spam) to other users.
Violations may be reported to law enforcement authorities where required by law.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on Milaap — including text, design, graphics, and code — is owned by or licensed to the Milaap team. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
By submitting content (such as a worker profile or job posting), you grant Milaap a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform for the purpose of facilitating connections.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Milaap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted information, the availability of jobs, or the suitability of any worker or employer.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Milaap and its volunteers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of employment, loss of data, or financial loss.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE, unless otherwise required by applicable law in your country of residence.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Milaap after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will indicate the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
