Job description: Experienced Welder (MIG & ARC) – Structural Steel Fabrication Company: Maxtherm Steel Engineering LLC Location: Umm Al Quwain, UAE Employment Type: Full-time, On-site About Us Maxtherm Steel Engineering LLC has been fabricating structural steel, mild steel/stainless steel, and aluminum works across the UAE since 2019, from our Umm Al Quwain workshop with a branch in Al Qusais, Dubai. We serve government authorities, fit-out contractors, and major developers. Role Overview We're hiring an experienced MIG & ARC (SMAW) welder for structural steel fabrication — pergolas, canopies, staircases, railings, gates, mezzanine floors, and custom steel structures. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG and ARC welding on mild steel per approved drawings and WPS Set up machines; select correct electrodes, filler wires, and gas mixtures Grind, dress, and finish welds for paint/galvanising prep Inspect welds for defects and rework as needed Follow UAE HSE and hot works safety protocols Maintain a clean, organized work area Requirements Proficient in MIG and ARC (SMAW) welding Able to read welding symbols Physically fit for workshop conditions, including work at height Preferred Certified welder (3G/4G/6G or equivalent) Experience with pergolas, canopies, staircases, or mezzanine floors Prior UAE fabrication workshop experience Work Location: In person
