Company: Maxtherm Steel Engineering LLC (part of Maxtherm Group of Companies) Location: United Arab Emirates Employment Type: Full-time, On-site About Maxtherm Steel Engineering Maxtherm Steel Engineering LLC has been a trusted name in steel engineering and fabrication in the UAE since 2019. Operating from a 15,000 sq. ft. fabrication warehouse in Umm Al Quwain with a branch in Al Qusais, Dubai, we deliver structural steelworks, mild steel and stainless steel fabrication, aluminum works, corrugated fences, mesh systems, staircases, pergolas, canopies, and custom steel structures for ministries, government authorities, leading fit-out contractors, landscaping firms, and major infrastructure developers across the UAE. About the Role We are looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Steel Fabricator to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience reading engineering drawings, cutting, welding, and assembling steel structures and components to precise specifications, with a strong focus on safety and quality craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret all types of engineering drawings, shop drawings, and welding symbols Measure, mark, cut, and shape steel using appropriate tools and machinery Fabricate structural steel items, mild steel components, stainless steel works, and custom assemblies as per approved drawings Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, rollers, plasma cutters, and welding machines Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG, and stick welding) to project specifications Inspect finished products for accuracy, dimensional tolerance, structural integrity, and finish quality Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with UAE HSE standards Collaborate with engineers, project managers, site supervisors, and fellow fabricators to meet project deadlines Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness Support site installation teams where required with prefabrication adjustments and on-site rework Requirements Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in structural steel fabrication, preferably in the UAE Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, shop drawings, and welding symbols Strong knowledge of fabrication tools, machinery, and UAE safety standards Certified welding experience (MIG, TIG, or stick) is highly preferred Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding workshop environment Attention to detail and strong commitment to precision and quality workmanship Good communication and teamwork skills Valid UAE residency and eligibility to work in the UAE Preferred Qualifications Experience with structural steel, sheet metal, and pipe fabrication Prior experience fabricating pergolas, canopies, staircases, railings, mezzanine floors, or warehouse structures Familiarity with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum works Prior experience in a UAE fabrication workshop
